What you'll be doing
Providing leadership, administrative and clinical oversight across Adult Community Mental Health ensuring services are contemporary, evidence based and recovery focused.
Providing clinical governance and supporting clinical quality and safety, clinical key performance indicators, the implementation and evaluation of clinical service plans and models of care, best practice and clinical areas as well as system improvements to ensure the highest quality of care and safety for consumers.

Where you'll be working
The Northern NSW Local Health District extends from Tweed Heads in the north, to Tabulam and Urbenville in the west, and to Nymboida and Grafton in the south. We provide community mental health services in Ballina, Byron, Grafton, Lismore, Murwillumbah and Tweed. The Community Mental Health clinicians provide crisis intervention, counselling, and supportive community-based mental health services and can facilitate admission to hospital or an inpatient mental health unit if required or refer to a more appropriate service in the community. Some community mental health teams have specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Workers.
