About the Opportunity
We are seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Office/Accounts Person to join our team in Orange, NSW.
As an integral part of our manufacturing and plumbing business, you will be responsible for assisting in efficient office administration, processing orders, accounts, and production coordination.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
* Effective communication with manufacturing staff, sales staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless business communication
* Processing sales orders and stock distribution to multiple sites within designated timeframes
* Generating invoicing and following up on accounts
* Handling telephone enquiries and processing purchase orders
* Managing logistical functions and entering tasks within our established system
* Maintaining accurate recordkeeping
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Excellent reporting skills, with a focus on daily office processing, sales, sales orders, manufacturing, and logistical timeframes
* Existing accounts and office experience
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong office admin skills, with the ability to utilise and navigate through multiple systems
* A sound knowledge of Microsoft Suites
* A positive can-do attitude and hands-on approach
* Assistance with coordinating daily operations of the office
* Friendly disposition
* Knowledge of accounting and business practices; familiarity with MYOB Exo or similar accounting systems will be an advantage
* Good people skills
