Purpose of a BOH Team Member
The primary objective of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience by producing high-quality, consistent food products and supporting the kitchen team.
Responsibilities
Food Preparation Expertise
* Slice, dice, and chop ingredients with precision and finesse.
Cleaning and Sanitation Excellence
* Maintain a spotless kitchen environment.
* Efficiently scrub pots, pans, and dishes while eliminating grease stains.
Inventory Management
* Rotate stock shelves to ensure fresh ingredients are readily available.
* Minimize waste and maintain optimal inventory levels.
OH&S Food Safety
* Adhere to proper food preparation techniques to prevent hazards in the kitchen.
* Ensure the team's safety during food preparation activities.
Waste Reduction Specialist
* Implement efficient ingredient usage strategies to minimize waste.
* Promote sustainability by reducing environmental impact.
Requirements
* Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
