Job Description
As an Accounts Officer, you'll be responsible for managing financial records and supporting key accounting functions across various departments. Your day-to-day duties may include:
* Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounting software
* Managing accounts payable (invoices, payments) and accounts receivable (billing, collections)
* Processing supplier payments and client collections in a timely manner
* Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing and analysing financial statements such as P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
* Assisting with budgeting, financial forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Overseeing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary and benefits
* Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assisting with tax filings and audits
* Providing financial reports to support management decision-making
* Collaborating with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
