About the role:This full-time role will work closely with managers and the HR department to ensure best practices in rostering while maintaining compliance with budgets, qualifications, and employment agreements. Additionally, you will play a key role in coordinating training and supporting basic payroll functions, such as time-sheet approvals.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain and publish roster templates in line with company policies.
Monitor and manage attendance, absenteeism, and unplanned absences to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Ensure compliance with workforce qualifications, employment agreements, and workplace conditions.
Coordinate workforce training and development schedules.
Support HR and Finance teams with payroll-related tasks as needed.
Assist in reporting, workforce trend analysis, and insights.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, letters, and relevant documentation.
Investigate and reconcile variances between rosters, time-sheets, and payroll.
What You'll Need to Succeed:Experience in rostering or scheduling, ideally within aged care or the health sector.
Strong knowledge of employment awards and their application in rostering.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with organisational values.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
A proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
