This project focuses on delivering a 1-day face-to-face workshop aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills for frontline workers in addressing domestic and family violence in diverse communities.Job DescriptionAs the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring successful delivery of the workshop. You will oversee all project phases, from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, resources, and quality standards are met. Your expertise will be essential in managing stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and maintaining effective communication and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesInitiation & Planning: Lead scoping, business requirements definition, user stories, and business case development.Scheduling & Tracking: Manage activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution within the allocated budget.Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, engage, and manage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding risks and issues.Project Governance: Establish, maintain, and monitor project governance arrangements to ensure milestones and performance indicators are met.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare meeting agendas, action minutes, and reports. Maintain risk and issue registers.Meeting Facilitation: Chair and manage effective meetings, including Advisory Group meetings.Communication: Utilise strong verbal and written communication to engage stakeholders and maintain compliance with scope and planning.Transparency: Share timely information with stakeholders to ensure transparency and accurate dissemination of updates.Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with key partners, government departments, sector representatives, and internal teams.Scheduling & Task Management: Define and estimate the schedule, effort, and task interdependencies. Track and monitor tasks, ensuring all dependencies are managed.Requirements Definition: Ensure effective business case development and clear role responsibilities.Resource & Financial Management: Track resources, budget forecasting, and financial reporting to meet project, program, and steering committee requirements.Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.ExperienceEssential: Certification in Project Management with 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing projects.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality outcomes.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.Demonstrated excellence in professional written communication and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities with excellent attention to detail.Experience in project change management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Ability to work well within a team, providing high-quality administrative and project support.Desirable: Experience with diversity and inclusion projects.Experience in an NGO or charity environment is desirable.Job OfferOpportunity to work in a meaningful project that addresses critical social issues.Collaboration with passionate professionals in a supportive work environment.For a confidential discussion please apply or contact Corin 0457676048.
