About the role:
Provide support to the Claims Team and Claims Performance Manager in regard to:
3. Technical Referrals
4. COP monitoring and reporting
5. Validation of COP breaches & reporting in IRIIS
6. Identification and facilitation of coaching/training opportunities
7. End of month reporting as delegated
8. Pro-actively identify process improvement opportunities
9. Payment approvals
10. Achieving strategic business goals

About You:
18. Diploma Financial Services (Insurance) - Desired
19. Tier 1 - Desired
20. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a general insurance claims function (mandatory)
21. Property claims experience (highly regarded)
22. Previousplaints handling experience (highly regarded)
Key Capabilities:
23. Thorough understanding of Insurance Code of Practice andpliance requirements
24. Thorough knowledge of TS business operations including strategic objectives
25. Thorough understanding of TS PDS's and the ability to accurately apply it to any claims situation.
26. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the NURV operating system.
27. Advancedmunication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels
28. Ability to make quality decisions in a quick and timely manner and when exposed to pressurised situations.
29. Demonstrated organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to prioritise according to business needs.
30. Preparedness to use initiative and problem-solving skills.
31. Strong analytical skills
32. Must be a proficient user of PC's and the MS Office suite of products - intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel would be an advantage.
33. Ability to lead by example, self-motivate, take responsibility and be accountable.
34. Task and goal oriented, with a sense of urgency andmitment to quality
35. Ability to identify and evaluate individual knowledge and skill gaps.
36. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
