One of Australia's leading insurance companies is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to be based in Brisbane or Sydney.
Your new role:
1. Managing and maintaining databases
2. Ensuring their performance, security, and availability
3. Handle tasks like backup, recovery, and troubleshooting to keep data systems running smoothly
What you'll need to succeed:
1. 5 years plus experience in Database Administration
2. Proficiency in database management systems (DBMS) like SQL or Oracle, and knowledge of database languages such as SQL
3. Precision in managing data integrity and accuracy
4. Effective communication skills to collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders
5. Previous experience in a financial services organisation
