Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in the hydraulic, electrical, industrial or oil and gas wholesale industry.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Branch Manager, the objective of this position is to support the local external sales team and customers throughout Western Australia and national branches. The key responsibilities include:Responding to customer enquiriesPreparing and following up on quotations and processing ordersDriving sales and generating new business leads through proactive outbound callingDeveloping business relationships and providing an exceptional level of customer serviceProviding technical advice and support to customers over the phoneEffectively planning and managing time to ensure maximum results are achievedSuccessfully meeting sales targets and KPIsAdditional DutiesInitiate, establish, and build strong customer relationships, retention, and loyaltyServe a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering suitable technical product solutionsActively participate in developing new accounts, generating sales quotes, and handling customer inquiriesWork effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organisational goalsBe the first point of contact for the branch, including serving walk-in customersLiaise with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery, and account queriesSupport external sales staff in developing and converting business/sales opportunitiesSupport warehouse receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goodsRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 2 years sales experienceStrong client liaison and relationship building skillsWell-developed communication and negotiation skillsA positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn and dedicationAn excellent phone manner and computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entryFluent English-speaking skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritise with attention to detailHydraulics, electrical or mechanical experience; however, training will be providedBenefitsYou will be rewarded with a negotiable salary package dependent on experience, and career development opportunities over time.
