Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in the Dubbo area, ensuring the people we support receive high-quality active supports. This role includes on-call responsibilities, along with some travel and shift work.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to work autonomously while managing budgets, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards, overseeing incidents, completing necessary reporting, and maintaining appropriate staff ratios for service delivery.Advocate for clients in relation to Human Rights with a sound understanding of Restrictive Practices.Guide and support a team of 30 Disability Support Workers, promoting a high-performance culture and ensuring the delivery of person-centred services.Foster strong partnerships with families, supporters, and key stakeholders, promoting open communication, shared decision-making, and ensuring national consistency in delivering a positive service.Maintaining clear role distinctions while offering support and mentorship to a team.Skills & ExperiencePrevious leadership experience supporting clients with complex care needs and high behaviours.Strong knowledge of the delivery of services with the ability to advocate, influence, and drive positive outcomes for the people we support.Creative thinker with the ability to take initiative and leverage leadership skills to drive impact in the sector.Diploma in relevant Social & Community Services or relevant experience.Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
