About the role Reporting to the Design Manager, the Experience Designer will support our front-line workers by researching, designing and testing digital or system solutions that streamline their administration tasks and enhance operational efficiency. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in identifying user-centered solutions to address both problems and customer needs. This is a 6 month maximum term contract role that can be based from any of our offices with flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of business problems, user needs, and technological constraintsDiscover new ideas and create concepts to analyse and validate with customers and the businessDesign, facilitate and analyse tests of our products through appropriate methodsWork within, contribute to, and improve a cohesive design systemSkills & Experience Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in experience design or a related fieldExperience working on software development projects / productsExperience with research, co-design or testing prototypes with usersDemonstrated experience facilitating groups of complex stakeholders to agreementExperience creating design documentation to support software developmentExpertise in design software (for example Sketch, Figma, Adobe)Strong understanding of Agile tools and techniques such as Lean, Scrum and Design ThinkingSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
