Crows Nest RAC is a leading aged care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Darling Downs, our facility offers a warm and welcoming environment, where our residents feel at home and cared for. Working 30 hours per week for AM/PM and Nightshifts. Key Responsibilities: Assisting residents with personal care tasks in a respectful and dignified manner. Supporting residents with mobility and transfers, promoting their independence. Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the nursing team. Participating in recreational activities and social events to enhance residents' quality of life. Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided. About You As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. You will also be involved in delivering meals and engaging in meaningful social interactions to promote emotional well-being. Ideally You Will Have: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants); Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication unit of competency and experience assisting with medication; Experience in aged care or a genuine passion for working with the elderly; Compassionate and empathetic approach to providing care; Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team; Understanding of and commitment to maintaining residents' rights and privacy; Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays; Current National Police and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to obtain; You are someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship, and Safety.
