About the Role
We're seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our iOS Applications team. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will build and deliver world-class iOS apps, providing technical leadership across the Coles Digital business.
* You will be responsible for ownership of the iOS tech stack
* Guild ownership, cultivating a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support
* Engineering tooling selection and alignment
* Definition of architecture and coding standards
* Review and endorsements of implementation plans
* Review of Key Decision Documents
* Refinement and prioritization of tech debt backlog, driving initiatives to maintain the overall platform health
* You will support an engineering team to develop delivery goals within agreed timelines
* You will facilitate agile scrum practices within the team, offering support to delivery managers in defining timelines and project requirements
* You will ensure the team develops software quality in line with the broader teams' expectations
* You will facilitate and govern peer reviews and testing standards
About You and Your Skills
* A seasoned software engineer with at least 10 years' experience
* Extensive experience with native iOS development and frameworks
* Highly experienced in enterprise Agile Scrum product development
* Experience working in large-scale projects and heavy-traffic platforms
* Ability to drive software engineering practices
* Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
* Experience in a cloud environment is desirable
* Experience with release and automation pipelines is desirable
