Responsibilities
:
Reporting to the Station Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Cattle management, including coacher mustering, yard work and conducting animal husbandry tasks, ensuring it is done precisely and safely
2. General farm duties including fencing, feeding, lick runs, checking water, operating machinery, and general farm maintenance
3. Property development programs related to farm infrastructure, including yards, water points and fencing projects
4. Assist management to achieve production objectives
Requirements
5. You will hold a C class drivers' licence (essential)
6. You must be proficient in riding a 250cc motorbike to navigate diverse terrain (essential)
7. You will be physically fit and resilient to handle the demands of station life.
8. You will be keen to learn any livestock handling skills or have experienced working on a farm
9. You will have basic mechanical skills for repairs of vehicle or equipment
10. You will have goodmunication skills
11. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team
12. You will be flexible, reliable, and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands (with potential for weekend work)
