What are we looking for: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong understanding of logistics processes. Key Responsibilities: Coordinating quotes and transport bookings for the delivery of finished goods, including timely and accurate dispatch documentation and, where needed, export documentation for international shipments Coordinating with internal and external customers with regards to delivery dates/times Raising and maintaining accurate purchase orders for transport bookings Planning delivery schedule and booking freight via the appropriate carrier Ensure the delivery of goods are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Accurate loading of goods to ensure correct truck selection and maximum loads achieved Maintain freight pricing matrix and communicate to sales and projects team Assist with the periodic stocktakes Validate freight supplier credentials for compliance Key attributes/skills and qualifications: 1. Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with the factory, operations and finance teams 2. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook 3. Excellent understanding of truck load capacity and measurements 4. Forward-planning and strategic thinking 5. Able to solve problems and make decisions accordingly 6. Excellent organisational skills 7. To have a working understanding of the warehousing, manufacturing, inventory and purchasing modules of the ERP system (NAV) Why Janus?
