We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Documentation Specialist, three days per week, to manage ANACC operations and mentor the care team in documentation requirements for our New aged care residence based in Romsey.
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of ANACC including assessment of new residents, identifying potential uplifts in a timely manner, applying for uplifts, managing DoH correspondence, coaching staff on good assessment writing principles, providing orientation to ANACC assessors, generating reports etc.
Skills, knowledge and experience needed: 2 years recent experience as an ACFI Coordinator or similar role (desirable) Have a comprehensive working knowledge of the new AN-ACC funding model.
Excellent documentation skills and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships Sound computer skills and proficiency using a clinical documentation system Current AHPRA (RN) registration is essential Willingness to learn and coach others Flexibility of part time, days and times open for discussion.
