Unparalleled dedication, experience, innovation and expertise within our teams ultimately ensures we deliver the highest quality project on time, on quality and on budget.Key Skills: Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer (steel fabrication preferred)Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool designFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniquesCommitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulationsWell-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office)Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Teamwork skillsDegree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering Responsibilities: Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during productionDesign and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practicesEvaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standardsCreate and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancingOrganize and manage manufacturing workflows and resourcesReview engineering designs during preliminary design review to identify producibility issuesOptimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performanceResolve issues and delays in productionConduct cost analysis and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.Cooperate with other engineers, contractors and suppliersCollaborate with quality control, engineering, and other departments to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.Manage and support the implementation of new equipment and technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
