Your role:
As a key member of the Field Services team in Brisbane, you will be leading a small team providing onsite IT support to one of our key Managed Services clients. This is a 5 days a week onsite role located in Toowong.
You will have technical ownership of your client, overseeing the service to users, and be an escalation point for your team. You will be responsible for proactively managing the client's IT environment and providing ongoing BAU support. People skills are essential as you'll be overseeing a small team of IT support engineers.
Your key responsibilities:
* Provide up to L3 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues
* Oversee projects/implementations for the client
* Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail
* Maintain effective communications with your clients
* Work with Senior Consultants and Account Management staff to ensure effective management of the client base
* Identify opportunities to productise new services and offerings
* Utilize your technical specialist skills to help build new products
* Develop new strategies to increase efficiency in the systems
* Perform system analysis and recommend improvements
Key competencies and qualifications required:
* Minimum of 5 years IT experience
* A Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children's Check) or the ability to obtain one
* Advanced experience in Wintel environments including Windows Server and Desktop
* Ability to administer an active directory environment
* A good level of understanding of virtualised/Cloud environments such as VMWare/Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure
* Break Fix Analysis and root cause analysis
* Ability to travel to client site daily
* People Leadership Skills
* Proven ability to work within and across teams
* Liaise with 3rd Party Vendors
* Ability to act as a point of escalation for complex issues and major escalations
