Duties In accordance with Court Security Act 2017 and any other relevant legislation be responsible for security services to Boards and Tribunals, including by:Screening people attending the premises.Responding to security incidents at the premises.Managing the personal belongings of certain users of the premises.Monitoring premises CCTV, duress alarms and security systems.Removing people from the premises in accordance with statutory provisions and under direction.Carrying out other duties as provided by the relevant statutory provisions and as directed.Provide services by:Ensuring the safety and security of staff and premises users.Monitoring the behaviour of premises users to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and other directions.Assessing any potential threat to the buildings or premises users including any arising from the behaviour of people at the premises.Ensuring rooms are secure and files, exhibits and other materials in hearing and mediation rooms are protected from unauthorised access or removal.Providing directions and information to premises users.Undertaking administration and clerical functions including typing, data entry, keyboard support and clerical assistance associated with the day-to-day operations of the Registry.Providing support to the reception area and staff as required.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications, and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.
