About the Position
We seek applications from motivated and creative scientists for a new tenure-track position in Climate & Fluid Physics. You will have the opportunity to develop and lead a world-class research portfolio, and contribute to research-led teaching and research training activities in Climate & Fluid Physics.
Our Research Profile
* The fluid mechanics of basal melting of the Antarctic ice sheet
* The development of Australia's next high-resolution global ocean-sea ice model (ACCESS-OM2)
* Thermodynamic approaches that integrate water cycle observations and modelling across land and ocean domains
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead a world-class research portfolio in Climate & Fluid Physics
* Contribute to research-led teaching and research training activities in Climate & Fluid Physics
* Undertake novel research on the fluid dynamics of the climate system, including turbulence and circulation of the ocean and atmosphere
