About The Opportunity
You will undertake chemical and microbiological testing of water, wastewater, industrial waste and environmental samples, coordinating and conducting field sampling to meet Council and regulatory standards.
About You
* Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in using water field test monitoring equipment and field test methods.
* Experience working in a laboratory environment conducting sample processing and use of laboratory instrumentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
* A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence.
* High Level oral and written communication skills for liaising with internal and external parties
* A Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement or other relevant qualification would be an advantage.
* Tertiary qualification of an Associate Diploma in Applied Chemistry, or Biology from a recognised university would be an advantage.
