Key leadership opportunities!Facility Maintenance Role – Tamworth.About The RoleAs a Facility Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of hospital infrastructure.
The role will see you provide oversight to the maintenance staff, and contractors to ensure all maintenance duties are completed to a high standard.You will be required to work with a range of stakeholders at all levels including hospital employees, managers and external contractors to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
This includes conducting inductions and completion of work permits.This is a Full time site based role based in Tamworth, with oversight of Armidale facility also.Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to effectively allocate time to each facility as required.Company vehicle provided when travelling between sites.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background of working within maintenance services roles.
You will also demonstrate prior experience in leading, coaching, motivating and developing a team to achieve results.
In addition, your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels will be key.EssentialExperience in a Maintenance Management role.Qualifications in Management.Experience in facility maintenance including preventative maintenance programs preferably health care/hospital setting.Relevant Trade Qualification or Certificate.Qualifications in Fire Safety Training - fire safety officer for health care facilities up to a thousand.Qualification /completion of relevant training in Issuing Work Permits.Demonstrated understanding of commercial buildings including Hydraulics, Mechanical and Electrical systems.Prior experience in leading, coaching, motivating and developing a team.Ability to manage conflicting priorities and to organise Human and Material Resources to achieve results.Intermediate computer skills.Demonstrated understanding of WH&S requirements and Contractor Management.Understanding of Hospital accreditation systems and requirements.Asbestos awareness or Management Training.Working safely at heights.Workplace instructional certificate - Cert IV - ability to teach staff how to use fire panels.White card preferred due to pending onsite construction.About The OrganisationThe Hospitals are owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people.
