The Job! As a Coordinator Child Wellbeing and Safety Partnership, you form part of a dedicated team of professionals supporting the wellbeing and social connection of children, families and the community through a variety of cultural initiatives.
It also delivers whole-of-agency functions and services tailored to meet the needs of the region across the Northern Territory, particularly early intervention and prevention programs designed to provide targeted, culturally safe and intense support to prevent statutory interventions.
To be successful, your strong understanding of the principles and functions of delivering statutory and non-statutory welfare services, developing and delivering effective interventions, and demonstrated capacity to interpret and apply complex legislation will contribute to your success in the role.
In addition, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, family and community structures, with the ability to communicate and work in a culturally safe manner.
