The Smith Family is a national children’s education charity that works with children and young people experiencing poverty to overcome their circumstances and reach their full potential by providing holistic, long-term support for their education.
About the role
We are seeking a Programs Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of the Learning for Life suite of programs, including the development and maintenance of key school partnerships. Reporting to the Team Leader, Learning for Life and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:
* Identify the needs of schools and community to determine program fit.
* Facilitate the delivery and administration of appropriate programs from the Learning for Life Suite in partner schools and the local community.
* Maintain program participation numbers and accurate databases.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partner schools and relevant community agencies.
* Manage volunteers in the program including induct, train and support.
* Support broader Smith Family program implementation.
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
* Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinator programs/projects
* Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relevant partnerships
* Experience in administration along with computer literacy
* Strong time management skills
* Demonstrated experience in presenting and facilitating with excellent communication skills.
* Hold a current driver's licence
