As we expand globally, we are excited about the next phase of growth and innovation in our business.To support our rapid growth, we are seeking three (3) Territory Agronomists who will lead the implementation of paddock scale trials and manage key relationships with growers, agronomists, and other stakeholders across a designated territory.The Role: Territory AgronomistAs a Territory Agronomist, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing Laconik’s paddock scale trials program within a defined geographical area. Your focus will be on building and managing strong relationships with growers, crop science companies, and agronomists, ensuring that trial objectives are met and delivering results that directly improve agricultural outcomes. You will also serve as a key ambassador for Laconik in your territory, helping expand our presence and build our brand in the agricultural community.What we are looking for:We are looking to employ three (3) Territory Agronomists; the territories are:Northern New South Wales/Queensland.Southern New South Wales/Victoria.Western Australia – geographical region to be determined.These are work-from-home roles. However, successful applicants will need to live in their territory. Please indicate which territory you are applying for and where you live on your application.Key Responsibilities:Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agronomists, and key stakeholders in your territory. You’ll act as their primary point of contact, ensuring excellent service delivery and support.Paddock scale Trial Management: Oversee Laconik’s paddock scale trials program in your designated territory. You will collaborate with growers, agronomists, and crop science companies to find trial sites, create trial prescriptions using the Laconik Analytics Engine, conduct in-season assessments, gather data (including yield maps), and deliver detailed client reports.Data Analysis & Reporting: Use the Laconik Analytics Engine to analyse trial results and provide reports to clients, helping them make informed agronomic and financial decisions.Brand Building: Represent Laconik at industry events, field days, and conferences. Build and promote Laconik’s reputation and presence within your territory, positioning yourself as an expert in precision agriculture and trial management.Laconik R&D: Undertake internal R&D projects to collect data on critical problems identified within the industry.Feedback & Improvement: Provide feedback on the platform to the development team, contributing to continuous improvement and helping ensure that Laconik Analytics Engine stays ahead of industry needs.What You’ll Need to Succeed:Agronomic Expertise: Experience in broadacre agriculture with a strong understanding of precision agriculture technologies and methods.Relationship-Building Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with growers, agronomists, and industry stakeholders.Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to interpret agronomic data and use it to influence decision-making.Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple trials and relationships simultaneously.Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage your own territory with minimal supervision.Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or a related field.
