Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct minor home and yard repairs without requiring a trade qualification.
* Perform maintenance that enhances safety and independence, from installing handrails to securing flooring.
* Tackle urgent needs such as fixing lighting, addressing water issues, or securing doors and windows.
* Carry out non-urgent tasks, including pruning, small painting jobs, and gutter cleaning, to maintain a safe, pleasant environment.
* Assist clients in navigating maintenance needs, providing information on council and community services.
Requirements:
* Experience in maintenance.
* Valid Victorian driver's license.
* Ability to prioritise, troubleshoot, and work independently, with knowledge of safe work practices.
* Strong communication skills to effectively assist and support clients.
* Physically fit to perform the role.
* Clear police check is required.
