Whoa! Hold it there !
Calling all Chefs and experienced Cooks
We get it, we totally do. Hospitality can wear the spurs right off your boots, the eyebrows off your face, the toes out of your socks and the hair right off your … well, you get the drift.
More importantly, we get it.
Hospitality can be thankless, long days, split shifts blah blah blah. But it doesn't have to be.
We are not cut from the same cloth. Little Bit of Barker, located in the thriving town of Mount Barker, amongst the mountains, the canola and the cowboys, is where the new generation of hospitality and service has begun.
Firstly, we're a fun bunch, we love our guests and our town and we would love for you to join us.
You will be thanked, truly! And better yet, if you have ideas and want to launch our little place to the next dimension in hospitality, we are all ears! Want your name in lights with the next "Best Steak Sandwich"? Do it! Let's talk!
Experienced in Western Cuisine? Great!
But! Don't hit that apply button yet!
There are few rules that you must obey….
1. If think you can, you can. We love to motivate and be motivated! Have the certificate or skill and the WANT? We can make it fit! Hit apply! (First, keep reading)
2. No time wasters. If you want to stay on the dole, that's your sorry business, but don't waste our time, we already pay for your lifestyle.
3. Puffing Billies? Who are we to judge? Look, your time is your time, but interviews are on my time. Red eyes and sunglasses inside, dude… Don't bother (also, see rule 2 above)
4. Be willing and committed, and we are there for you.
5. Want to get some runs on the board and a job in the industry for a little bit before you head off to the big smoke, again, see rule 2 above. We are only looking for committed individuals that want to be part of something big (we have big ideas and plans for the future!)
Family run, great team, great location, where your efforts are rewarded. Become part of the new face in hospitality in Mount Barker, where the locals love us and the tourists come back for more!
We're open 7 Days a week, so weekend and evening availability is essential (but, no split shifts!).
If you're local to Mount Barker, Albany or Denmark, even better!
We are also able to sponsor Visa 482 & 494 applicants, must be English fluent and experienced in Western Cuisine & culture. Sorry, no holiday visa applicants.
