WHY THIS CAREER IS SO REWARDING
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you are NOT just one piece of someone's recovery, you support them through their whole rehabilitation journey. You will become a rehab expert and act as the participant's advocate and their educator as you guide them through what can be a tough process for them.
Here is what the reality of this role is:
* Conduct Occupational Therapy specific assessments such as Activity of Daily Living, Attendant Care, Modified Bartel Index and functional upgrading evaluations.
* Perform a variety of occupational rehab specific assessments such as worksite, ergonomic, functional assessments.
* Support with equipment prescription in the home and office environment.
* Have support from a national Occupational Therapist technical specialist who runs monthly internal OT forums (with your OT colleagues across the country) to help with your CPD requirements.
* Work amongst a local multi-disciplinary team of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and Social Workers.
* Access to award winning tools to support you in your role
