Fero Waste and Recycling Inc, a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is a solid waste company that services New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and is currently seeking the knowledge and expertise of a Roll-Off Operator.
Job Summary:
The Roll-Off Operator is responsible for the hauling of customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional sites. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on container delivery and hauling of industrial roll-off routes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
5. Satisfy customer needs for service. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
6. Responsible for daily pre and post-trip inspections
7. Complete daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager
8. The daily route consists of driving to customer sites, securing bins on the truck, emptying bins at the transfer station, returning the bin to the customer site
9. Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
10. Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
11. Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities
12. Required to climb up the ladder on the truck to tarp loads
13. Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds
14. May perform some other additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
15. 1-2 years of driving experience in a transportation sector
16. Must possess minimum Class 3 Drivers license with air brake endorsement
17. Experience driving manual transmission
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
19. Strong customer focus
20. Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks
21. Knowledge of the industry is considered an asset
22. Willingness to pick up shifts and work additional hours as required
