Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has been created for a Service and Commissioning Manager at GTE Technology. Embedded in our sales team, this role will bridge any gap between our service and spare parts customers and our technical teams, while supporting team members working at customer sites.The purpose of the role is to:Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faultsAdjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instrumentsInstall electronic instruments and control systemsRespond to service and spare parts customer enquiresSupport onsite works through planning and booking logisticsPrepare teams to conduct onsite works at customer locations through pre-briefings and issuing of required equipment, resources and technologySupport Sales and Company DirectorsImprove processes and procedures within Service and Commissioning function; andKeep accurate records and comply with statutory regulationsProactively contact customers to schedule service requirements and arrange periodical ordersSupport production engineering with service and spare parts manufacturing requires and releasing service and spare parts in to manufactureObtain supplier quotes for service and spare parts requirementsTo be considered for the role you must have:A sound mechanical aptitudeIntermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP usage and computers overallA customer-centric approach with high attention to detailThe ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and effectively manage competing and changing priorities while understanding the impact of your role on othersExemplary organisational skills
