We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to join our service planning and forecasting team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving healthcare systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.
The Role:
The primary focus of this fixed-term role is to develop and implement methodologies and tools to enable reliable demand analysis and forecasting to inform health service planning.
This will include:
* Developing and maintaining data models, reports, and visualisations to support health planning and decision-making.
* Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to understand data needs and ensure accuracy and relevance.
* Analysing complex health data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform policy development.
The initial priority for this role is to work with a range of stakeholders to prepare and present service utilisation analysis and demand projections to inform a new cancer services plan for Tasmania.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 9 months. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $128,102 - $134,832 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
