About the Role
Traffic Force is seeking Traffic Controllers for immediate and various start dates in the coming weeks.
With a variety of ongoing work in and around the South West, we have an exciting opportunity for accredited and non-accredited personnel to join our team. Not currently accredited? No problem! We have the ability to assist you in obtaining the required accreditation, so keep reading!
You will play a critical role in ensuring we implement effective and safe traffic management practices, providing the highest safety to our customers, road users, and ourselves. As a Traffic Controller, your team will rely upon you to be reliable, follow work instructions, communicate clearly, have a positive attitude, and assist in achieving the required safety and performance results.
Responsibilities :
* Implementing temporary traffic management for worksites and events
* Controlling traffic using stop / slow bats and various electronic devices
* Monitoring worksite traffic, safety, and performance
* Completing worksite safety documentation and records
* Supporting Operations Department
Key Skills & Requirements :
* Valid WA C Class license (or higher) and reliable transport
* White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to pass pre-engagement and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
* Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Controller accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
* Availability to work flexible hours (e.g., early mornings, night shifts, weekends)
* Strong communication skills with a commitment to safety
* Reliability and trustworthiness
