Your new role
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
* Leading and mentoring the ICT support team to ensure high levels of productivity and performance, fostering professional development through training programs and continuous learning opportunities.
* Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, maintaining and updating security policies to comply with relevant regulations, and developing and managing an incident response plan for potential security breaches.
* Establish and maintain clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors, conduct regular performance reviews to ensure high-quality service and value for money, and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of services provided by external vendors.
* Ensuring 100% submission of performance reviews, planning, and Learning & Development (L&D) plans for each team member, setting SMART goals, creating personalised development plans aligned with organisational objectives, and providing ongoing feedback and support to team members.
* Implementing proactive monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues promptly, scheduling regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation of systems and technologies, and staying updated with the latest technological advancements and integrating them as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven ICT management experience with the ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of ICT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
* Hands-on experience with ITSM frameworks and tools.
* Effective leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience in managing ICT projects from planning to implementation.
* A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
