DHA manages one of Australia's largest national housing portfolios of about 17,000 properties and has an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Assistant Director to join the team.About the roleAs the Assistant Director Procurement, you will primarily be focused on ensuring the procurement operations of DHA are undertaken in a proactive and compliant manner through the leadership of a small team who deliver an advisory service for minor and simple procurements and lead the development and delivery of complex and strategic procurement initiatives in consultation with subject matter experts.About your teamThe Chief Financial Officer's Group is responsible for the delivery of fiscal management services across the organisation. The DHA Procurement Team is responsible for supporting DHA in achieving its objectives through sound procurement advice and support via a tailored DHA Procurement Framework delivered through a hybrid procurement model. As the Assistant Director Procurement you will lead and supervise members of the DHA Procurement Team within the Finance and Corporate Support Branch and play a leadership role in the delivery of a high performing procurement function.
