About the role:
As a Trainee Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, while learning to operate various heavy machinery including front-end loaders and excavators. You’ll receive training from experienced operators, allowing you to enhance your technical skills and operational knowledge while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
* Assist experienced operators in daily tasks and learn best practices.
* Participate in training programs to develop your skills in plant operations.
* Contribute to a safety-focused work environment and adhere to all safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* A recent school leaver ready to start a paid Traineeship.
* A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the recycling and quarrying industry.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
* Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
