About the Opportunity
With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location which currently employs over 350 employees.
We are currently seeking an IPM Technician in a full-time capacity, to join our team.
The successful candidate will be provided with a full onboarding and training program and be presented with further opportunities to grow their career with ongoing leadership training.
About the role:
Reporting to our IPM supervisor, this role is responsible for a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to):
Scouting the crops to understand pest and disease levels Providing scout reports and maps from all growing areas Spraying to eradicate pests and assisting in coordinating IPM spray team Ensuring site hygiene stations are stocked and clean (Footbaths, sanitizer etc) Support in training new team members on correct pest and disease identifications The Successful candidate will have:
High attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Strong safety awareness Strong organisation and planning skills Previous IPM and/or spraying experience is desirable Experience with entomology and biological control would be desirable for this role Forklift licence and Chemical user tickers are desirable but not required Why work for us:
