Our mission is helping people live their best lives and stay connected with their communities.We offer permanent part-time contracts starting with a minimum of 10 guaranteed hours per fortnight, which will increase as we build your roster.What You’ll Do:Domestic assistance such as housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and personal administration (e.g. shopping, banking, paying bills).Support customers with personal care, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and hoisting (this includes customers with high care needs).Support customers to stay connected to their communities (appointments and activities, family, and friends).Think outside the box by finding creative solutions to challenges.We offer on-the-job training and buddy shifts to help you pick up all the skills you need!What You Need:A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (important for the role).A NDIS Worker Screening check (or be ready to get one).A positive attitude and creative thinking.Flexibility to work different shifts.Experience helping individuals and families (would be great).Qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services (also would be great).We’re proud of our diverse team and warmly welcome applications from people with disabilities, First Nations peoples, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people from all culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.How to apply:Send in your resume; shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or by phone.To find out more, visit: www.avivo.org.au
