As a Senior Procurement Advisor, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the operational delivery of compliant, value-driven procurement activities. You will work closely with internal teams to develop procurement capability, enhance early planning and engagement, and ensure strong contract management practices.
This role requires expertise in procurement frameworks, legislative requirements, and policy compliance, ensuring procurement processes align with best practices and deliver strong commercial and strategic outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert advice on procurement sourcing approaches, approval frameworks, policies, and governance controls.Support internal stakeholders and buyers with strategic, tactical, and governance guidance to achieve strong procurement outcomes.Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies, legislation, and financial management frameworks.Lead or support the drafting and delivery of medium-to-high complexity procurement and funding documents, including Procurement Plans, specifications, market documents, evaluation materials, contracts, and approval briefs.Provide hands-on guidance during procurement planning, evaluation, negotiation, and contract drafting to ensure value-for-money outcomes.Monitor procurement progress, report on risks and emerging issues, and provide insights to leadership.Support procurement-related projects, including process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and system enhancements.Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with document management and reporting requirements.About YouThe ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement, contract management, or supply chain, with expertise in governance and stakeholder engagement.
