ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an RN you will walk alongside managers that walk the talk and be with teammates who care as much as you do. There is a reason why so many of our nurses stay with us for years. We hope you will too! We have various positions available from permanent to casual, across day, afternoon and night shift.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering a high standard of care to residents, complying with legislation and regulation requirements
* Monitoring the resident care of nursing personnel within their identified area of responsibility
* Accepting responsibility for standards of nursing practice and ensuring the clinical unit is functioning within the allocated budget for clinical supplies
* Maintaining knowledge of National Competency standards and Gerontology skills

KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing
* Working rights within Australia
* National Police Certificate
* Current Influenza Statement and Covid 9 Vaccinations (highly desirable)
* Knowledge of ANMC National Competency Standards for an RN and skills related to Gerontology
* Knowledge of Equal Opportunity Legislation, the Aged Care Accreditation process and WorkSafe requirements
* Ability to complete documentation as per NBWA Management of Patient Information and Documentation Guidelines
* Clinical management and coordination skills
