Reporting to the Project Development Manager - Power, you will play a key role in providing technical support during all project phases to ensure that project designs meet operational requirements. Projects may encompass Solar PV, Wind, BESS, and/or gas firming technologies delivered on an EPC / D&C or multi-contract basis.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure that project designs meet operational requirements and APA engineering standards, along with providing technical support during all project phases.Collaborate with project teams to understand and address their technical needs.Review and approve project designs and changes.Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the project, along with reporting on project progress/technical issues to senior management.Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technically and commercially feasible solutions for both customer and internally generated projects.Management of development projects to budget and agreed timelines.Your BackgroundStrong knowledge of engineering principles and project management.Development experience in the power generation and renewable energy sectors.A commitment to ensuring that project designs meet operational requirements and APA engineering standards.Demonstrated experience in project management activities such as proposal/business case writing, estimating, scheduling, project delivery, EV tracking, and commercial management.Proficiency in project management software tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Project, Primavera or equivalent.About the TeamThe Infrastructure Engineering - Power team forms part of the Infrastructure Delivery division in APA, responsible for development and delivery of growth power projects across Australia. With a strong pipeline of power projects, both on-grid and off-grid, the recently established Infrastructure Engineering – Power team is experiencing rapid growth.
