Your New Role:Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation with open communication, and knowledge sharing. Establish clear management principles ensuring that the team follows business processes to meet strategic business goals. Promote a strong safety culture by driving Safety in Design (SiD) awareness and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards. Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, or eliminated throughout the design, investigation, and construction phases. Strengthen engineering capabilities to deliver comprehensive investigations, precise specifications, and thorough scoping for SA Water's capital projects. Coordinate the engineering delivery process to optimize outcomes, ensure value for money, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Implement client-focused systems to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions while managing project pipelines and aligning with stakeholder needs, including consideration for value for money principles. Champion continuous improvement by promoting service excellence, enhancing knowledge sharing, and optimizing workflows through strong collaborative professional relationships. As a point of contact for the structural materials engineering from different stakeholders, this will be an integral leading role within the engineering solutions team. You will need the following to be successful: Qualifications:Professional Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (i.e. B.Eng) Post graduate studies in structural engineering. Demonstrated experience in Project Management or qualifications. Demonstrated experience in preparation of Reports and Technical writing. Extensive experience in leadership with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience in the execution of critical engineering, investigations, and concept/detailed designs. Recognition of discipline expertise by Engineers Australia is essential.
