This is a full time 12-month contract with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
The Kemerton site is part of our operations in Western Australia, focusing on the production and refinement of titanium dioxide, a key chemical used in various industries including coatings, plastics, and paper.
This is a residential role; there is no camp at site. For fatigue management, you must live within a 40 min commute to 869 Marriott Road, Kemerton Industrial Park 6233, Western Australia. This roster is on our 24/7 shift sportsman roster, which will see you working 7 shifts per fortnight for 16 weeks followed by 4 weeks off paid.
Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor and control plant processes and equipment to maintain optimal plant performance.Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain process equipment, including pumps, valves, and control systems.Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and respond to safety incidents or emergencies.Coordinate with production supervisors and planners to prioritise production schedules.Maintain accurate records of production activities, process parameters, and equipment maintenance tasks.Identify, report, and troubleshoot process issues, equipment malfunctions, and production bottlenecks.Identify opportunities for process optimisation and improvements.About you Proven experience as an Operator with processing and monitoring exposure preferred.Must be fit to perform physical work and be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.Strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Must be comfortable working in a hazardous environment.
