Job Title:
District Visual Merchandiser
Join the adidas VIC team as a District Visual Merchandiser and lead the charge in visual merchandising excellence across multiple stores.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the implementation of best practice visual merchandising and in-store communication standards to create a strong consumer journey, highlighting product features and brand stories to drive sell-through – ensuring consistency of execution across a portfolio of stores.
* Train, guide and motivate In-Store Visual Merchandisers (ISVM) to continuously deliver excellence in execution across the entire market in DTC.
* Cascading of brand guidelines and VM guidelines to ISVM and store teams to ensure executional excellence and understanding of principles to drive accountability at store level.
Additional Duties:
* Assist in measuring and reporting on retail productivity with recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
* Understanding of consumer profiles, retail KPIs and market strategy in order to guide decision making.
* Support the omni-channel team by providing field / store insights to guide the campaign planning process in order to cater for individual stores / market needs.
* Support omni-channel execution team by ensuring campaign readiness at store level (create plug & plays, collate installation permits, create campaign reporting documentation and liaise with suppliers to support OCM installations).
Requirements:
* Ability to take a proactive approach to strategy implementation, consistently communicating across relevant stakeholders with the business and team to ensure alignment of priorities to meet both brand and retail objectives.
* Possess strong interpersonal and clear communication skills through which desired results are delivered in a fast-pace, highly competitive environment.
* Knowledge of, retail landscape, visual merchandising, retail marketing and presentation.
* Strong project and planning skills.
* Highly organized and demonstrates a 'finisher, completer' mentality.
* Ability to think conceptually, in strategic terms and diagnose and translate sales/ category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy.
* Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English.
* Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel.
