About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a BIM professional to provide a leadership function for the Sydney Water Digital Engineering team. Through supporting our delivery partners and the delivery of strategic programs of work, you will implement Sydney Water's Digital Engineering vision. As a dedicated resource to Sydney Water’s Digital Engineering team, you will have an opportunity to manage key strategic programs of work and will be executing this via the generation and management of digital representations of our physical assets focusing on BIM (Smart design, construction & handover) and Digital Twin (Smart Asset Information Management, Planning, Operations & Maintenance). Your duties will involve: Lead BIM programs of work for the organisation and ensure timely delivery. Define BIM requirements across project life cycle phases, for inclusion into contracts and Digital Engineering Standard. Development of BIM guidelines and supporting information on behalf of the organisation to assist delivery partners. Provide technical support, guidance and direct to our delivery teams and direct implementation in alignment with our organisational vision. Ensure compliance and support for BIM quality and maturity. Who are we looking for? Demonstrated skills in managing BIM project application with multiple business stakeholders. Knowledge of managing BIM project maturity and successful application demonstrating consistent business value. Qualification and Experience: - Diploma qualification in Engineering or Construction or equivalent experience of large-scale Greenfield/brownfield infrastructure works in an urban environment.- Have previous experience and working understanding of BS1192, PAS 1192 and ISO19650.- 7 - 10 years Industry experience.- Experience implementing Building Information Modelling.- Comprehensive knowledge of GIS. Experience in GIS an advantage.- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in BIM technologies.- Demonstrated experience in BIM execution planning.- Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
