About the role – Full-time max term contract until 30June 2024
Tumbelin is an adventure-based experiential-learningprogram for young people aged 13 to 18 which aims to reduce harms associatedwith comorbid substance use (alcohol and other drugs) and mental health issues.Using an outreach framework, we support prevention and early interventionactivities and promote evidence-based information about drug and alcohol usethrough education. As the case manager you will be working with groups up to 10young people to conduct adventure therapy-based day programs, overnight andmulti-day camps, as well as 1:1 support to participants and their family/significantother.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not belimited to:
1. Deliver Tumbelin in accordance with the CountrySA Primary Health Network (PNH) Contract, Project Plan and ensure alldeliverables, including client outcomes, targets, reports, and other outputsmeet the Contract and Plan standards and milestones.
2. Contribute to thedesign, documentation, implementation, administration and ongoing developmentof an explicit practice framework which describes the Tumbelin Case ManagementModel, including work directives.
3. Facilitateadventure therapy sessions and actively participate in adventure basedexperiential learning activities, including bushwalking, rock climbing,kayaking caving, mountain biking etc.
4. Undertake intake,assessment, and case management with clients.

You will also have the following skills and experience:
5. Relevant degree qualification and/or a diplomawith demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in social work, psychology,education, counselling, youth work or a related field.
6. Minimum Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other DrugCounselling (or willingness to work towards this or an equivalentqualification)
7. Industry-recognised certificates and/orqualification in outdoor disciplines (e.g., bushwalking, kayaking,rock-climbing, mountain biking) including overnight endorsement is highlyregarded
Specific Requirements:

8. A current and valid DHS: Child-RelatedEmployment Screening/ WWCC
9. A current and valid National Police Clearance
10. Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations including anybooster requirements
11. Training – Child Safe Environments
12. Training – Apply First Aid (min HLTAID003)
13. Training – SMART Trauma Informed Care(Australian Childhood Foundation)
14. Training – Youth Mental Health First Aid
15. Ability and willingness to travel within SouthAustralia as required.
16. Ability to work outside of normal office hourswill be required.
17. A valid full South Australian drivers’ license(C Class)
