We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our dynamic finance team and help us continue our success Role Overview: As an Accounts Officer, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. ✅ Hours: Full-Time position. No WFH [9AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday] Key Responsibilities: Daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports including variance analysis. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies. Assisting in managing and reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Assist with BAS and IAS and year-end audits and tax preparation. Assist with Workcover Claims Preparing and submitting quarterly and annual reports to regulatory bodies. Direct Debit administration for Home Care Clients. Home Care Package funding claims through Services Australia. Assisting with Annual or on demand pricing preparations for new and existing clients. Assisting with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, mitigate risks, enhance system setups, and improve internal and financial controls, particularly in managing government-funded home care packages Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in financial regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar certification preferred). Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero, and Advance Microsoft Excel) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and professionalism. Operating effectively in a complex, high-volume environment with multiple group entities Experience with the Home Care Package funding system is an advantage. Why Join Us?
