About the RoleERM is looking for an early-career Botanist/Vegetation Ecologist/Wetland Ecologist to join our Perth-based Ecology and Approvals team.
With a strong pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting while contributing to meaningful projects.
This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience looking to further develop their field skills, gain exposure to consulting, and be mentored by industry experts.

About YouWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who is passionate about the environment and keen to apply their skills in consulting.
You will have: Tertiary qualifications in Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.1–2 years of fieldwork experience, preferably in flora surveys.Strong observational and data collection skills – experience using field survey tools and methodologies is a plus.Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field and office settings.A valid driver's license (essential for fieldwork).Desirable but not essential:Previous experience in environmental consulting, local government, revegetation, land management, or conservation.Basic understanding of environmental legislation and approvals in WA.
