The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Cameron Park, New South Wales. In this role, you will take on direct responsibility for managing and growing our civil/structural work group, driving project success while mentoring and developing your team. You will play a key role in fostering a positive, high-performance culture, ensuring that your peers and staff have the support and guidance they need to reach their full potential. If you're a motivated leader with a passion for structural engineering and team development, we’d love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Liaise directly with clients involved in engineering projects, ensuring clear communication and strong professional relationships. Estimate project costs for bids, contribute to client presentations, and manage key client relationships to drive business growth. Apply engineering principles, techniques, and methods to deliver high-quality solutions for engineering projects. Conduct engineering analysis, design, and computations to support project development. Perform structural audits of critical assets, plants, and equipment to assess integrity and compliance. Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS to evaluate structural performance and optimize designs. Review and enhance the company’s structural engineering activities to exceed client expectations and industry standards. Prepare project proposals, execution plans, engineering specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates, tender documents, resource coordination plans, reports, and client communications. Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and innovative solutions to address client challenges effectively. The successful applicant will ideally have: Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering with project management and supervisory experience. CPEng and RPEQ status are highly advantageous. Minimum five years of experience in a field related to Testing, Inspection or Asset Care Services.
