Scope of the Role:
* Oversee and coordinate daily Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, ensuring seamless service and operational efficiency.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming and high-quality dining experience to maximize guest satisfaction.
* Manage operational costs, implementing strategies to maintain financial efficiency while meeting budget targets.
* Lead all aspects of staff management, including recruitment, rostering, performance monitoring, and training.
* Train and mentor both new and existing employees in best-practice customer service to uphold service excellence.
* Forecast and manage inventory needs, ensuring adequate stock levels for kitchen supplies, utensils, and cleaning products.
* Uphold a guest-centric approach, consistently exceeding customer expectations through quality service and attention to detail.
* Ensure all staff adhere to approved work practices, health & safety regulations, and operational guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to foster a strong, dynamic relationship between FOH and BOH.
* Assist in the development and implementation of menus in collaboration with the Senior Chef team, maintaining innovation and quality.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
* Regularly review and prepare performance reports for senior management, providing insights into operations, customer feedback, and financial performance.
* Exhibit a strong drive for success, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to professional growth within the restaurant group.
Requirements:
* You should be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities.
* You must be available on both days at weekends and able to work split shifts.
* A relevant Diploma qualification and at least 2-3 years of employment experience within the hospitality industry
* You must have a current RSA certificate
* You must be customer-focused and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences.
* You must display excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills.
* You must lead by example, ensuring your team understands what exceptional looks like every day.
