With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care.Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation.Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team including the Surgical Consultant, Fellows, Registrar, and Allied Health to achieve excellence in patient's clinical outcomes and hospital experience.Ensure patient and staff safety.Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the patient.Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting.Experience in Cardiothoracic (essential).Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) (Desirable).Current Registration with AHPRA.Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.Commitment to quality patient care.Works independently and within a team.Exceptional time management and organisational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
